Place editable text boxes aligned to the page preview so placement is obvious before export.
PDF editor — edit text & annotate online
Upload a PDF, click existing text to rewrite it, add new text or images, then download a polished merged file.
Click real text from your document to replace it: we match the layout in the preview, then export with a clean white patch and your new wording. You can also add new text boxes, highlights, or images like a lightweight desktop tool.
Rendering stays in your browser until you download—merge runs on the server so overlays, replacements, and highlights land in one export-ready PDF.

What you can do here
Overlay editing that matches how people actually fix PDFs under time pressure.
Drag a translucent rectangle to mark areas—useful for emphasis or rough redaction notes.
Drop PNG or JPEG artwork on the page; scaling follows the box you see in the preview.
Download applies every overlay in one merged PDF so you keep a single output file.
You stay in control: nothing is merged until you click download, so you can tweak overlays first.
How to use it
Upload your PDF and wait for thumbnails. Pick a page in the strip to focus the main canvas.
Use Edit text to click existing copy, or Add text / Highlight / Image. Drag to draw highlights on the page preview.
Click Download PDF to merge overlays on the server and save the edited file to your device.
What to expect
Text replacement covers the original glyph box with white and draws new text using a standard PDF font matched to the source (not the original embedded font). Spacing may differ. Scanned pages are images, so you cannot edit their text here unless you OCR elsewhere first. Always open the downloaded PDF before sharing.

Quick question
Does my PDF stay private?
The preview renders in your browser. Download runs a merge on our servers and sends the result back—do not upload sensitive documents unless that tradeoff works for you.
